Caddie

Before his retirement Paul Stevens was the longest serving caddie on the P.G.A. European Tour. He began at the age of 12 at Rochdale Golf Club and since then became one of the best and most sought after caddies in the world. He has caddied in every country in Europe, as well as South Africa, Japan, the Far East, Australia, New Zealand and in the U.S.A. He has caddied extensively around Royal Melbourne and has won tournaments there caddying for such illustrious names as Tom Watson (including his Australian Open victory), Greg Norman, Severiano Ballesteros, Sam Torrance, Hale Irwin and was runner up with Ben Crenshaw.

Golf Courses

He has experienced famous courses as Augusta and Oak Hill and has caddied for some of the most famous and legendary players such as Sam Snead, Curtis Strange, Sandy Lyle and Nick Faldo, Ernie Els, Nick Price, Trevor Immelman, Charl Schwartzel and Mark McNulty (for 7 years) and Christy O’Connor Junior and Senior.

Paul Stevens has completed several consecutive after dinner speaking/comedy tours of selected golf clubs including speaking at The Open at Royal Portrush, where he caddied for the legendary Arnold Palmer! This includes speaking about his experiences as the longest serving caddie in the world for all the legends! His anecdotes include his role with Peter Oosterhuis in the Open at Royal Lytham, when he finished runner up to Gary Player.

Singer

Paul is also a very successful singer, with appearances on radio, television and in the world of cabaret. He has appeared with some of the most famous artists in the world, including Roy Orbison, Johnny Mathis and Tom Jones, and appeared on stage with groups like the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.

Speaker

Paul is now a regular speaker on the corporate entertainment circuit. His work as a golf speaker is notoriously funny and his long-standing career as a caddie has seen him witness to and involved in a number of brilliant and sardonic situations both on and off the course. Audiences continually praise Paul for his delivery, marking his talks as a golf speaker as some of the most entertaining ever seen. He has successfully entertained many companies including General Accident, FI Group, William Stone Spears, Marley Waterproofing, Leica plc, Intermarque, Train Chartering Company, Accor Hotels, Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, Dione plc, B.O.C, and Merril Lynch.
