Sean Percival has been a professional comedian for over twenty years; working all the main comedy clubs, venues in the UK and been a regular on the after dinner circuit. He has performed all round the world in luxury resorts, cruise ships, army shows and private functions. He has taken his act to comedy tents at the Glastonbury, Reading and Download festivals amongst others.

Sean can often be seen at sportsman’s dinners, performing alongside some of the biggest names in sport including; David Gower, Robbie Fowler, John Conteh, Dennis Taylor, Ray Parlour, Dean Saunders, Paul Merson and many more.
Resort Comedy
He was part of the comedy zone at the Edinburgh festival and is a regular at the TUI Sensatori resorts comedy cellars (booked by Comicus). He’s also entertained the troops at numerous Army, Navy and Air Force bases all over the world; and recently started to perform my one man show ‘Made in Dudley’ at various venues in the UK.
West Midlands Start
Sean Percival was born and raised in Dudley in the West Midlands, after leaving school he became a Fabricator & Welder without any interest in comedy. He didn’t even own a comedy DVD or video. It was a close friend and lorry driver at the factory where he worked, who was also a performance poet and ran creative writing workshops, who told Sean he was funny; advising him to write down some of the things he said at work he could possibly be a comedian. Sean decided to give it a go and has not looked back.
Comedy Writer
Sean Percival spent four years working as a writer for the multi talented Ian Danter; on his capital radio BRMB Drive Time show. ‘the Barmie Brummies’ and his Heart FM show ‘ the Sunday Carve up’. These radio shows were broadcast well before the watershed with Sean now saying; ‘listening back to extracts from them now it’s hard to believe we got away with some of the content’.
