Steve Walls is now widely regarded as the UK’s leading compere. As well as hosting at many major black tie corporate events, summer balls and sporting occasions such as the Champions League Final, he has hosted such diverse things as fashion shows, product launches, open air festivals, community events, remembrance day parades, sportsman’s dinners, right through to a Quiz evenings
Television
Steve Walls is a very experienced TV Presenter, with over 1000 hours of live presenting experience on both Sky and terrestrial channels. Steve has worked as a TV warm up on shows such as “Stars In Their Eyes Kids” with Cat Deeley, and “Russian Roulette” with Rhona Cameron. He has been principle comedian in over nineteen pantomimes. He has worked all over the world on cruise ships for the likes of P&O, Fred Olsen and Thomson Cruises. He has also worked extensively for Tui at Sensatori, Thomson Gold, Thomson Couples and Holiday Villages. Combined with the fact that Steve is a vastly experienced comedian and strong vocalist, this is a cast iron insurance policy, that should anything go wrong on the night, he can cover effortlessly for as long as is required.
Steve Walls Host
Steve is equally at home hosting shows with Showbusiness legends from the world of variety, or more cutting edge stars of today such as Al Murray, Ed Byrne and Ant and Dec. Steve has compered events with, or performed with celebrities, musical or sporting stars such as Tim Healy, Shane Lynch, Alan Shearer, Ricky Tomlinson, Paul Michael Glaser, Bobby Davro, Michael Owen, Tina O’Brien, and Clive Anderson, Brian Conley, and Joe Pasquale to name just a few.
Projects include hosting the VIP Marquee for “Take That” and “Oasis.” He has also hosted an award ceremony at London’s Dominion Theatre to present Julie Walters and hosted the Oyster Festival at Billingsgate with TV’s Patrick Kielty. Steve has also written comedy for other people. He was delighted to be asked by John Challis to write some material for himself and Sue Holderness for the “Boycie and Marlene” Tour. Steve has been comic and host in many theatre productions, such as Flashback and Red Hot Chartbusters.
