Clive Coleman is a Barrister, Comedy Writer, Broadcaster, Award Host and After Dinner Speaker. He is the BBC’s Legal Correspondent; a role he arrived at via a career as a barrister and lecturer in Law. Clive covers a broad range of domestic, and international stories and issues. He works across TV and radio news, seen regularly on: the Today show, Five Live, Breakfast, The News Channel and BBC news bulletins.
As a barrister and one of the country’s top comedy writers; Clive has the unique ability to write and deliver hilarious material; on just about any subject. In 1992, Clive won the BBC Radio Light Entertainment Contract Writers Award; besides previous winners, including Angus Dayton and Rory McGrath. Clive contributed to ‘Weekending’, ‘The News Huddlines’; and wrote the sit-com ‘Hair In The Gate’, starring Alistair McGowan. Clive’s TV credits include: ‘Spitting Image’, ‘Smith and Jones’, ‘Clive Anderson Talks Back’ and ‘Have I Got News For You’.

Matthew Willetts MA is the Director of Comicus who has over 35 years experience in television, film, theatre, and comedy club/cabaret entertainment, working as a performer, screenwriter, producer and agent. He lectured at Southampton Solent University in Comedy, Screenwriting, Television, Theatre & Radio. Matthew can sometimes be seen and heard on TV & Radio and often quoted in the national press and media publications. As well as speaking regularly at festivals and industry conferences, he has been a judge at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Montreux Television Festival.
