Will Greenwood: Rugby Player

Will Greenwood had a professional rugby career spanning 9 years, earning 55 caps and scoring 30 tries, a tally second only to Rory Underwood. His ability as a midfield creator is beyond question. Will played in the Lions tours of South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. He scored a hat-trick against Wales in the Six Nations Championship. As a centre, Will played for the Preston Grasshoppers from 1988 to 1990. Before moving to Waterloo R.F.C until 1994. Later embarking on his senior career. He spent eight years with the Harlequins and four years with the Leicester Tigers. Earning over 400 total points. From 1997 to 2004. Will played for England’s national team. Making three appearances with the British and Irish Lions, in 1997, 2001 and 2005. On the international stage, he made 57 appearances, gained 155 points, and was a Vice Captain during the 2004 Six Nations Championship.
