Graeme Le Saux

British former footballer turned popular pundit, Graeme Le Saux made a name for himself as part of the most successful Premier League team of the 1990’s. Named as part of the Professional Footballers’ Association’s Team of the Year whilst at Chelsea and later again at Blackburn, Graeme proved a skilled and dominant player in his day, which led him to be equally revered in his secondary career as a commentator and football speaker. Football career

Graeme Le Saux studied environmental science then signed to Chelsea in 1989. Playing for four years. Winning FA Cup, League and European honours. He later returned for a further six successful years with the side in 1997. As the most expensive English defender at the time, Graeme lived up to his formidable reputation on the pitch, and secured a win for Chelsea in the Football League Cup, UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup and the UEFA Super Cup, all in 1998. Equally recognised for his success with Blackburn Rovers, the four years he spent with the side are some of the club’s most legendary. The most successful being the 1995 Premier League winners. A season Graeme took centre stage in.

England International

Graeme was called up to represent the England national team on forty two occasions. Including in the Under 21s division. As the side’s talented left back he was selected to play in all four of England’s 1998 World Cup games. His only international goal went down as an iconic occasion. This has recently been named as England’s eighteenth Greatest Ever Goal. After announcing his retirement and hanging up his boots in 2005. Graeme naturally transitioned into the role of a football pundit.

In demand by broadcasters for his evident insight on the game and popularity with fans. He’s since taken to commentating for NBC and dispensing expert advice for the City, travelling with the Prime Minister on a trade mission to China. Graeme uncovers the real business of football.
