Beth Mead is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Arsenal and the England national team. Beth was a player in the Lioness team at UEFA Women’s Euro 2022, where she won the Golden Boot, Player of the Tournament, and Top Assist Provider. This made her the only English player to win both the Golden Boot and Player of the Tournament at the Euros or World Cup.

This series of events made Beth the league-leading scorer with eight goals and put Sunderland at the top of the WSL 1 leader board. A truly impressive and powerful player, Beth was chosen to be part of the England Lionesses in 2018. Beth was also honoured with the BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2022 Award, and was appointed MBE in the 2023 New Year Honours List.
