Her card skills are exceptional as was noted by the critics at the Edinburgh Fringe; who watched Laura London: Cheat, a show Laura wrote and devised. It tells the story of a female cardsharp in the 1920s who made her living cheating at poker. The story was brought to life with great story telling and Laura’s own incredible skills. She has since performed this show both in 2019 and 2018. To standing ovations at the world famous ‘Magic Castle’ in Los Angeles; as well as at other high end venues in London. She is also well established lecturer on the international magic lecture circuit.
Laura London: Magician
Laura’s interest in magic began at only 10 years old. When, for a birthday present she was given her first magic trick; by a family friend who just happened to be a magician. Just one week after her 18th birthday, she became the youngest ever female member of The Magic Circle. Laura is now a member of the Inner Magic Circle; and she has been appointed to the team who examine those wishing to join the Magic Circle.
TV Street Magic
At the start of her career Laura London concentrated on a wide range of close-up magic; while experimenting in mind reading and stage illusions. Within 6 months of becoming professional, she landed her first TV show called Playing Tricks; a ten-part street magic series featuring Laura as the only female among six magicians. Her other TV credits include ITV1’s ‘The Next Great Magician’, ‘Penn and Teller’s ‘Fool Us’, ‘The Magic Party’ for BBC NI and ‘Children In Need’.

London Magician
Born and raised in London, Laura is currently the ‘magician of choice’ at many fashionable London venues. She currently holds residencies at both Circus in Covent Garden and at the Café de Paris; and previous residencies include the Hippodrome, Scarfe’s Bar at the Rosewood Hotel, the Savoy and the Black Cat at the Café Royal. She has had the honour of performing for the Prince of Wales on several occasions; and also for Her Majesty the Queen at Buckingham Palace.

International Magician
Virgin Atlantic take her all over the world to entertain at some of their most high end presentations. Laura has performed in Miami, New York, LA, Sydney, Beijing, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Mumbai, Johannesburg and Dubai. She has also made appearances at Download festival, Glastonbury, Sonisphere, Love Box and SFX. New Year’s Eve 2018 saw her at the fantastic Nyami Private Island; as part of what is billed as The Best Show the Maldives has ever seen and she has been asked to return for NYE 2019.

We’ve had the pleasure to work with Laura London both in person and in an online capacity at Clearleft and she has been utterly brilliant in every way. Moving our in person events online has been an interesting challenge and we wanted to find a way to offer engaging entertainment as well as little moments of lightness throughout our conference. We worked with Laura to deliver two online shows and a range of short pre-recorded tricks, all of which added moments of fun, intrigue and a fair dash of her own blend of glamour to our event!
Laura is a complete professional, she went above and beyond to plan the details of the show and helped us figure out the technicalities of how to deliver the live elements of the show. Not only did she perform, but recorded, edited and came up with tech innovations to bring the close-up magic to life for an online audience. And in terms of performing…as a live performer Laura is show-stopping, and to translate that into an online format was staggering, the expressions of delight and disbelief of our attendees were total proof of what a great addition she was to our line up!
