Tennis In Excess

The Aussie Wimbledon winner reached the final of the Delta Tour of Champions, only to be defeated by McEnroe. Now on the Legends circuit; Pat has fulfilled his rock ’n’ roll dreams on stage with INXS and performs with his own band The Wild Colonial Boys.

A hard fighting serve and volleyer, Pat Cash was a member of Australia’s winning Davis Cup team. Four years later he won Wimbledon. Beating Ivan Lendl – and taking spectators by surprise when he climbed the seats to embrace his family.

Away From The Net

After announcing his retirement. Pat remained involved at the highest level as coach to Mark Philippoussis and Greg Rusedski. Pat also developed the ‘Intonet’; a device designed to pick up balls at the net and reduce the risk of back trouble.

Based in London, Pat Cash became a regular member of the BBC commentary team and started his own academy. He also reached the final of the 2005 Delta Tour of Champions, only to be knocked out by John McEnroe.

Pat Cash Rock ‘n’ Roll

Outside tennis, Pat’s other love is music. He shared a stage with INXS at the Australian Open and often appears with his own band; The Wild Colonial Boys. He uses his famous chequered headband as a guitar strap.
