Baking A Generation
Actress and comic Mel Giedroyc, besides her long-time comedy partner Sue Perkins; hosts the BBC game show institution The Generation Game. It is, however, as the hosts of The Great British Bake Off that they are perhaps best known.
Comedy Duos
Mel and Sue wrote for French & Saunders, performed around the UK, recorded radio series, and hosted Channel 4 chat and magazine shows Light Lunch and Late Lunch. After a break the comedy duo returned to screens with great acclaim; as the hosts of Bake Off, helping make the programme one of the most popular shows of recent years.

In additional to a variety of panel show and guest show appearances; Mel has been seen as a panellist on The Wright Stuff, as a contestant on Comic Relief Does Fame Academy and Taskmaster, in various children’s shows, in The Vicar of Dibley and Miranda. She also joined Sue to host their eponymous chat and cookery show for ITV.

Away from the cameras, Mel is the author of several books on pregnancy and motherhood including; From Here to Maternity and Going Ga-Ga.
