Lucy Worsley PhD is a TV Presenter and Broadcaster whose gained a reputation for her Historical documentaries and factual series on the BBC. She is Chief Curator at Historic Royal Palaces. The charity that manages the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace, the Banqueting House in Whitehall, and Kew Palace in England.

Lucy has gained widespread public attention through presenting numerous historical documentaries on the BBC, including: The Age of Regency, Six Wives with Lucy Worsley, Mozart’s London Odyssey, Empire of the Tzars – Romanov Russia, A Very British Murder, The First Georgians: The German Kings Who Made Britain, and A Very British Romance. She also co-presented Dancing Cheek to Cheek: An Intimate History of Of Dance with Strictly Come Dancing judge Len Goodman. More recently, she’s presented Agatha Christie: Mystery Queen. As well as a special 90 minute documentary exploring the Blitz, entitled Blitz Spirit with Lucy Worsley.
Education & career
Lucy studied Ancient and Modern History at New College, Oxford, before completing a PhD in Art History at the University of Sussex. After leaving University, Lucy worked at Milton Manor in Oxfordshire, where her role included giving guided tours. Subsequently, she worked for the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings, English Heritage and Glasgow Museums. In 2003, she was appointed Chief Curator at the Historic Royal Palaces.
