Laurence has been involved in managing people, creating ideas and serving customers since he left school and during his career has marketed & sold Newspapers, Washing Machines, Televisions, Computers, Music Centres, Insurance, Videos, Advertising, Christmas Gifts, Cars, Commercial Vehicles, ECG Machines, Diagnostic Sets, Pharmaceuticals, Conveyancing Services, Medical Supplies, Hospitality and Sales Promotion.

His business and people management experience is extensive having progressed through junior, middle, and senior ranks in advertising & marketing with some of the UK’s largest publishing organisations. As an entrepreneur Laurence has created developed and sold many businesses. Including Video Franchising, Commercial Vehicles, A Direct Marketing Agency, A Property Portfolio and most recently a Publishing Company. Laurence set up Avagio Publishing in 2005, which published lifestyle and business to business magazines across the UK; using the same principles that he refers to during his passionate presentations. As Managing Director Laurence expanded the business and organically grew the company into a well respected publisher of quality magazines. Part of this business was sold in 2009 to Northcliffe (Part of the Daily Mail Group), hence the legacy lives on!
