Helen Chamberlain is one of the UK’s premier broadcasters. She is probably best known for her role as co-host on Saturday morning’s Sky Sports ‘Soccer AM’; a football magazine show which takes an amusing and irreverent look at forthcoming football matches. She left the show after 22 years in 2017.

A keen Torquay United supporter, Helen is also a former presenter; of the Friday evening sports show Soccer AM’s All Sports Show, both shown on Sky Sports. She was also a columnist for the Daily Star.
Helen started her career as a Bluecoat at Pontins holiday camp and as an announcer at Chessington World of Adventures; before becoming a club Disc Jockey. She was discovered at Chessington by a producer for Nickelodeon, where she began presenting in 1994.

She moved on to co-present Sky Sport’s Saturday morning show ‘Soccer AM’ in 1995. She has also guest presented on two former Channel 4 breakfast shows; The Big Breakfast (alongside Johnny Vaughan) and RI:SE. and was a presenter for Sky TV’s dedicated Poker channel Sky Poker.
Helen Chamberlain: Poker Player
Helen Chamberlain is a keen poker player, who was trained by “Mad” Marty Wilson. She finished second in the 2005 Poker Million tournament winning $400,000. Helen owns racehorse Birkspiel which she purchased with some of her poker winnings; Birkspiel is trained by Simon Dow at Clear Height Stables in Epsom. On his first outing for the crew in April 2006 he won. Helen’s passion for horses has developed, as she continues to train, own and ride horses.
Helen wrote and produced her own gardening show to share her passion for animals and gardening and is Torquay United’s most famous fan
Helen is also a car enthusiast and owns a number of collectable cars including two frog-eyed sprites and Fred Pontin’s original Mercedes Benz.
Helen has proved to be a popular host and awards presenter at corporate events.
