William Stone
William Stone is a stand-up, comic actor and writer. Hailing from a nondescript northern working-class market town, William’s whimsical one-liners won him a spot in the 2018 BBC New Comedy Award final, the Leicester Square New Act of the Year Competition final and the 2Northdown New Act of the year final 2020. He has gone on to establish himself as a leading comic on the comedy club circuit.

William Stone is well-known for his writing, which has featured on Mock the Week, The News Quiz and Newsjack. You can also spot William in the sketches he has written and starred in for BBC Three Quickies and the NextUp’s Doorstep Comedy.
William Stone Radio & Podcast
William has performed live stand-up on BBC Radio 4 and Radio 2. He also recently wrote and recorded his first podcast series: William Stone Explains, a series of short monologues on big topics. He is currently working on a new comedy show for BBC Radio 4.

A regular on the comedy club circuit, William has performed at Komedia, Top Secret Comedy Club, The Comedy Store, and Manford’s Comedy Club to name a few.
