As an actor Rufus Hound starred in “The Wedding Video” (Film, 2011), “One Man Two Guv’nors” (UK Tour & Theatre Royal Haymarket, West End 2012/13), “Neville’s Island” (Chichester Festival Theatre, 2013); appeared in “A Touch of Cloth 2″ (TV 2013) “Big Fat Gypsy Gangster” (Film, 2011) and played the eponymous hero in “Hounded” (CBBC, 2010).
Rufus Hound: Comedian
As a comedian, he won that dance thing for Sport Relief dressed up as Cheryl Cole; captained the Blue Team for three series of Dave’s ‘Argumental’ and used to be on ‘Celebrity Juice’. He’s done most of those panel shows: “Never Mind The Buzzcocks”, “Would I Lie To You?”, “8 Out Of 10 Cats”, “You Have Been Watching” and a ton of others that weren’t as good.
Rufus Hound: Presenter
As a presenter, he has welcomed viewers to “Top of the Pops”, “Glastonbury” and “The Brits: Backstage”; and other stuff that he can’t remember. No, tell a lie, there was some stuff for “Richard and Judy” that was alright.
Radio Work
On the wireless, he hosts Radio 4’s “My Teenage Diary” which won a Sony Award in 2013; initiated “What’s So Funny?” on Radio 4Extra. He has guested on “The Unbelievable Truth”, “The Jonathan Ross Show”, “The Graham Norton Show”; and countless other podcasts and things.
TV Work
Then there’s all the smaller stuff. “Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two”, “The Apprentice: You’re Fired”, “Xtra Factor”, “This Morning”, “Alan Titchmarsh”, “Doctor Who; The 12th Doctor” blah blah blah. You know the kind of thing. Oh and those talking heads shows that everyone got bored of.
DVD’s, Book & More
In 2011 he released his debut stand up DVD “Being Rude” which really smart people liked. Oh, and he did a book about heckling, though no-one really bought it. Anyway, he’s available for work, so if you have some of that, by all means get in touch.

Rufus gave me palpitations on a couple of occasions but sponsors do expect a bit of a ribbing! The way he did the awards was superb and probably the best we’ve had actually – he held them really well – there was little chatting probably as they were waiting to hear what he was going to come out with next. I thought our sponsor presenters enjoyed him too – he gave them lots of attention.
