He has had his own TV Specials; Brace Yourself Sydney, Desperately Seeking Roger, and In the presence of Julian for ITV. Julian was also presented with ‘the big red book’ for the BBC’s This Is Your Life.

He has also hosted, presented, and co-presented various music, quiz and game shows; and Julian also starred in a Carry On film – Carry on Columbus.

He was a resident Team Captain on the comedy panel game show It’s Only TV, But I Like It with Jonathan Ross, and has also been a special guest on various light entertainment chat & quiz shows including: Des O’Connor, Room 101, Have I Got News For You?, The Big Breakfast, They Think It’s All Over. He is also a regular panelist on BBC Radio Four’s Just a Minute.
