Jimmy McGhie performs at all the best comedy clubs, theatres and arts centres up and down the UK and abroad. Fresh off supporting John Bishop and Jason Manford on tour, performing in the Maldives at the world-famous Anantara Resort, and a sold-out tour of Dubai, he will also be supporting Stephen Bailey at his sold-out Bloomsbury Theatre show this spring before heading to Oslo and Scandinavia.

Corporate Events

Jimmy hosts some of the biggest corporate events and award shows in the industry, including the HFM European Financial Services Awards at the Natural History Museum, An Audience with Jimmy Anderson, and the ISPS Handa Mike Tindall Celebrity Golf Classic. He has also hosted events for esteemed companies such as Coca-Cola, Google, YouTube, Shell, Nestlé, McDonald’s, DAF, ProSound, Insider, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan, HSBC, and more. Additionally, he is the studio warm-up for The Graham Norton Show, Loose Women, Loose Men, and The Claudia Winkleman Show.

International

Jimmy has performed at prestigious venues like the Comedy and Magic Club in Hermosa Beach, Los Angeles, and made his debut at the renowned Yuk Yuks comedy chain in Canada. He has also appeared in shows across Norway, Belgium, and Holland. As a favourite at international arts festivals, Jimmy performed his critically acclaimed 9th solo show BA (Hons) to sold-out crowds at the 2020 Adelaide Fringe. He was set to continue at the Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Canberra Comedy Festivals until COVID-19 hit, forcing him into a year-long lockdown party on the sofa.

Edinburgh

In 2019, BA (Hons) played to full rooms and received critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe. The show was selected as one of the Scotsman critic’s “Best Shows to See in Edinburgh” and was part of The Pick of Edinburgh. Jimmy McGhie also hosted the prestigious Pick of the Fringe 2019 at the Sheraton Hotel for the third year in a row.
