Jason is a charismatic, sophisticated presenter with extensive sport knowledge and years of experience.

He is one of BBC Wales’ most experienced and high profile news and sport presenters. He hosts his own daily radio show – The Phone In Show – on Radio Wales, presents Sport Wales for BBC2 Wales and the very popular international Rugby union show Scrum V. Jason also presents for BBC1’s Final Score, Match of the Day and has been the presenter for the Six Nations and Autumn International Rugby, also for BBC1. He has become the presenter of choice for the Cardiff Marathon for Channel 4 and S4C. He was also part of the Olympic broadcasting team in Rio for the 2016 Olympics

Jason had the privilege of hosting the career defining fight between Joe Calzaghe and Bernard Hopkins live from Las Vegas for BBC network as well as introducing BBC Wales’ special on the FA Cup Final. Jason also regularly hosts the annual BBC Wales Children in Need output and the BBC Wales Sports Personality of the Year.
Not content with just presenting, Jason has made two acting appearances in the Dr Who Christmas specials for BBC1 starring alongside David Tennant and Kylie Minogue playing the role of the TV news anchor.

Before becoming a presenter, Jason was a reporter on Wales Today. He’s reported from many countries including Australia, when Jason was the face of BBC Wales’ Commonwealth Games coverage. Closer to home, Jason was a TV reporter, and reported on some of the biggest news stories including the Queen’s Official Opening of the National Assembly for Wales’ new building.

Jason is a superbly articulate after dinner speaker and is now is demand by many businesses and sporting organisations who want an accomplished host for their events. He’s the perfect person to introduce award ceremonies and corporate team building events.

As well as being authoritative, attractive and delightful to work with he is also extremely intelligent with a BA from the University of Wales in Welsh and Politics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from Cardiff University. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children Lilly, Max and Poppy.
