The Banker – Tales of the financial collapse from the front line

A former financial advisor and bank manager, James brings humour and originality to his after dinner speeches. After spending 14 years on the banking high street with Abbey/Santander, James decided to head into the world of stand up comedy.

Whilst most people watched on TV as the banking sector went into meltdown, James was on the frontline, and gives an insight as to what was really going on behind those doors.

His stories of starting life on the counter of a busy bank, through to taking his first steps onto the stage, his journey will have you both gasping in disbelief and roaring with laughter. It was a bold career move, but one that James felt that after dealing with the credit crunch in the banking industry, anything would be possible.

It was during his time in the bank that he developed as an after dinner speaker, business conferences and meetings gave him the opportunity to try out his routines!
