
Helen Chamberlain is probably best known for her role as co-host on Sky Sports Soccer AM; a football magazine show which takes an amusing and irreverent look at forthcoming football matches. She left the show after 22 years in 2017.

A keen Torquay United supporter, Helen is also a former presenter; of the Friday evening sports show Soccer AM’s All Sports Show, both shown on Sky Sports. She was also a columnist for the Daily Star.
Bluecoat Beginning
Helen started her career as a Bluecoat at Pontins holiday camp and as an announcer at Chessington World of Adventures; before becoming a club Disc Jockey. She was discovered at Chessington by a producer for Nickelodeon, where she began presenting in 1994.
Sky Sports Saturdays
She moved on to co-present Sky Sport’s Saturday morning show ‘Soccer AM’ in 1995. She has also guest presented on two former Channel 4 breakfast shows; The Big Breakfast (alongside Johnny Vaughan) and RI:SE. and was a presenter for Sky TV’s dedicated Poker channel Sky Poker.
Helen Chamberlain: Poker Player
Helen Chamberlain is a keen poker player, who was trained by “Mad” Marty Wilson. She finished second in the 2005 Poker Million tournament winning $400,000. Helen owns racehorse Birkspiel which she purchased with some of her poker winnings; Birkspiel is trained by Simon Dow at Clear Height Stables in Epsom. He lectured at Southampton Solent University in Comedy, Screenwriting, Television, Theatre & Radio. Matthew can sometimes be seen and heard on TV & Radio and often quoted in the national press and media publications. As well as speaking regularly at festivals and industry conferences, he has been a judge at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Montreux Television Festival.
