Brian Higgins is one of the most experienced headline acts, on the comedy circuit today. He started learning his craft in London 1993; four years later he went professional and hasn’t looked back since.
Brian Higgins: Comedian
Slowly and steadily, Brian has worked his way through the ranks; and has regularly headlined all the top comedy clubs for the last ten years. Not only in the UK, but also as far a field as: Hong Kong, the Middle East and the Caribbean.
Brian has worked comedy cruise ships, theatres, universities and festivals; he rarely fails to deliver the goods. That might be the reason why, he is one of the busiest comics on the circuit.
TV & Radio
Brian has had countless appearances on radio, with the likes of Talk Sport, the Fred MacAulay show; and many TV shows: Funny Business, The Warehouse and award winning short film Pub fiction.
Brian Higgins: Comedy Writer
Recently he has delved into the world of writing and has just finished a children’s book; about special needs kids and now working on a farcical book, for men on the not so talked about subject… pregnancy.
Fatherhood and pregnancy are his main topics at the moment; besides that along with his improvisation skills and topical material, makes for a great night of laughter.
He is hungrier now than he has ever been and it shows in a strong set.
