Hire Bradley Walsh

Bradley Walsh was once best known as a professional footballer, with Brentford FC; however after two successful years, an unfortunate injury ended his football career. Football’s loss was Comedy’s gain, as Bradley turned into one of Britain’s most recognisable stars; working as a comedian, actor and presenter on our TV screens. His first steps into the world of entertainment started as a Bluecoat, for Pontins Middleton Tower holiday park resort; near Morecambe, Lancashire.

He soon established himself as a talented comic; with his big break coming when he literally stole the show at “The Royal Variety Performance” (1993). He became a regular on Des O’Connor Tonight; which in turn led to a series of sell out tours across the country, as a stand up comedian.

Acting Up

Bradley Walsh has also appeared as a guest on Parkinson and the Jonathan Ross Show. However he became a household name; playing the lovable rogue Danny Baldwin in the UK’s highest rating TV show, Coronation Street. Bradley can act as he proved, by playing the lead role ‘Eric’ in Michael Cooney’s brilliant comedy; “Cash On Delivery” in the West End; and more recently in episodes of the hit TV show Doctor Who.

Since leaving the street, he has filmed an emotional three part ITV drama entitled Torn; and has fulfilled one of his own ambitions: acting in Dickens costume drama Old Curiosity Shop; besides Sir Derek Jacobi. His other recent on screen persona, as DS Ronnie Brooks from Law & Order: UK.

TV & Radio

As a presenter Bradley Walsh has hosted; National Lottery on BBC1, The Chase, Odd One In on ITV, Big Stage on C5, Shoot The Messenger on Paramount; and Sports Addicts on Challenge TV. He also had his own show on Capital Radio for two years; and hopes to return to radio, when he has more time.

Bradley Walsh: Comedian

Bradley has the comedian’s gift, for observing the ordinary and making it funny. He is equally at home at the alternative Comedy Store, or as a crowd-pleaser in family entertainment. He was nominated for Best Actor in the National TV Awards in: 2005, 2006, 2007; and many nominations for both acting and presenting in: 2011 and 2012.
